No Political Messiah

Sep 14, 2025    Pastor Gary Hill

“No Political Messiah” is a prophetic call to the church to stop confusing political power with Kingdom faithfulness. Drawing from John 18, Matthew 21, Isaiah 58, Micah 6, Ezekiel 43, and Matthew 25, the message warns against outsourcing the church’s mission to government and rebukes the hypocrisy of seeking revival while neglecting the poor. It contrasts the fading City of Man with the eternal City of God, reminding believers that our true citizenship is in heaven, not in Washington. The sermon calls Christians back to their role as witnesses, not campaign managers, and urges a choice: Revival or rebellion? Caesar’s crown—or Christ’s cross?
